Technical Cadet Course (TCC) Overview
This commission is for male Pakistani citizens applying through the Pakistan Army's Technical Cadet Course (TCC), aimed at engineering officers.
Age Limit: 17–21 years (up to 3 months relaxation)
Education: FSc Pre‑Engineering/ICS (minimum 65%) or equivalent
Gender: Male only (unmarried)
Course Prerequisites
- Must be Pakistani citizen (AJK/GB domicile acceptable)
- Unmarried male between 17 and 21 years
- Height minimum 5 ft 4 in (162.5 cm)
- Weight as per BMI standards
Eligibility Criteria
- FSc Pre-Engineering or ICS with minimum 65% marks (including NCC weightage if applicable)
- A‑Level candidates must submit IBCC equivalence
- Hope certificate accepted for final result pending candidates
Ineligibility Conditions
- Twice rejected by ISSB/GHQ or once by both
- Medically unfit as declared by Appeal Medical Board
- Dismissed/debarred from Armed Forces or Govt Service
- Convicted in a court for moral/criminal offenses
- Diploma holders or currently enrolled cadets are not eligible
Registration & Preliminary Tests
Registration Dates: Feb 09 – Mar 11, 2025 (Online only)
Preliminary Tests: Mar 16 – Apr 20, 2025 (excluding weekends & holidays)

Tests include: Written (English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry), Physical (run, push-ups, sit-ups, chin-ups, ditch crossing), and Medical.
Training Details
Selected candidates undergo 4‑year Engineering degree (at NUST-affiliated Colleges like MCE, CEME, COSE, Aeronautical)
After degree, 1‑year military training at PMA Kakul
Final rank: Commissioned as Captain in respective technical corps.

- Original Matric and FSc marksheets/certificates
- IBCC equivalence (for A‑Level)
- CNIC or B‑Form (with guardian's CNIC if under 18)
- Domicile certificate
- 3‑6 attested passport-size photos (front & back)
- ISSB “Not Recommended” letter if repeating
Important Notes
A 13-year service bond is required on stamp paper (e-stamped) after selection.
Travel allowance (TA/DA) not provided for tests/interviews.
Original documents must be brought on reporting day. Late reporting will not be entertained.
